In 1985, I realized I liked to work with those computer thingys, so I went to a trade school and got a job in the computer field. 23 years later, I'm still in the industry as a software developer.
While in school, I met this girl that stole my heart and 3 years later, in August, 1988, we got married.
If you remember, I spent a fair amount of time in the theater at BRHS and, well, that has continued. Since 1990, I've been working with the Elden Street Players (ESP) in Herndon, Va. After running lights and sound for a few shows and even performing on stage in a couple of productions, I realized my true love in theater, set construction. Since then I've been the master carpenter on more productions than I care to try to remember. I've also designed a few sets for ESP, one of which was nominated for best set design for the local version of the Tony Awards.
From my start with ESP in 1990 to date, I've worked on over 80 productions.
My most memorable shows are "Hair" in 1996, The Who's "TOMMY" in 1997 and the cult classic "The Rocky Horror Show" in 2001.
Additionally, I've been on the ESP Board of Directors for the past 4 years.
